Alma Peer Mentor

Alma serves families and young children in Southwest Denver and other under-resourced surrounding neighborhoods, which are characterized as diverse and multi-language / multicultural communities. This project focuses on Vietnamese and Vietnamese American families, Native American families, Middle Eastern families, Latin-American Spanish or English-speaking families, as well as families from our refugee communities. 

The Alma peer mentor is expected to build trusting relationships with families and support parents and caregivers to practice and learn the Alma skills that support their health and well-being. Coordinator of Family Education and Leadership Programs

The Coordinator of Family Education and Leadership Programs is expected to build trusting relationships with families and coordinate programming oriented to amplify their leadership skills, develop community projects, support their parenting, and cultivate community connections. 

The Coordinator of Family Education and Leadership Programs provides leadership and coordination in the planning and implementation of family leadership and education programs, including the Family Leadership Training Institute (FLTI) for youth and adults and Abriendo Puertas. The Coordinator of Family Education and Leadership Programs works cooperatively with other team members including contracted facilitators, host agencies/community sponsors, staff, Civic Design Team, Colorado State University Extension FLTI Team, and community partners.  Read the full job description for the Coordinator of Family Education and Leadership Programs.
