The MBH Policy and Financing Coalition upholds diverse membership to form a statewide network of practitioners, advocates, and community members. We recognize such diversity as critical to driving effective policy change. All members are essential to the Coalition’s impact and success.
The Core Work Group
Members of our Core Workgroup are supported through monthly meetings and empowered to develop new ideas, guide implementation efforts, and evaluate existing policies. This group identifies the Coalition’s policy priorities and actively participates in strategic planning and policy development. The Core Work Group frequently hosts stakeholder feedback sessions to advise state agencies and departments on policy and programmatic strategies that align with best practices and appropriately address maternal and infant mental health needs. During the legislative session, the Work Group is closely engaged in bill tracking, information dissemination, and advocacy opportunities for proposed legislation.
